Meet The Coaches

Kassandra McCray has had a passion for dance and the performing arts since the age of five. Her lifelong love for movement has grown into a mission to inspire, empower, and develop young dancers through creativity and performance.

In 2018, Kassandra founded her church's dance ministry, using dance as a form of worship and storytelling. Since then, she has choreographed for individuals and groups and performed in stage productions and musicals, experiences that have shaped her vision for developing confident, expressive performers.

Inspired by her love for majorette dance, Kassandra founded the Blue Satin Dolls to provide youth in her community with an opportunity to participate in the performing arts beyond traditional sports. Her goal was to create a program where dancers could discover their talents, build confidence, and experience the excitement of performing.

More than just a dance team, Kassandra envisions the Blue Satin Dolls as a sisterhood where every dancer feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. Through dance, she strives to instill confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership, empowering every dancer to dream big, work hard, and shine both on and off the floor.

Coach Mick is a passionate choreographer, dance educator, and mentor dedicated to developing confident, creative, and technically strong performers. A graduate of Fort Valley State University with a degree in Visual and Performing Arts, he has built an impressive career in dance education, choreography, musical theatre, pageantry, and competitive dance.

He previously served as a Hip Hop, Feminine Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary choreographer at Dance FX Studios in Athens, Georgia, and choreographed for P.H.A.S.E.S., Fort Valley State University's basketball dance auxiliary. He also served as the Assistant Coach of the F.A.D.D. Dance Team in Macon, Georgia.

Currently, Coach Mick is a Dance Instructor at Greene County High School, where he is committed to inspiring young dancers to develop their confidence, artistry, and performance skills.

Coach Mick has trained under renowned choreographer Shane Sparks, best known as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, gaining valuable insight into the professional dance industry. His experience also includes performing in numerous musical theatre productions throughout Georgia, serving as a judge for dance competitions and majorette battle royals, and coaching pageant contestants in confidence, poise, and stage presence.

Above all, Coach Mick believes in using dance to inspire growth, creativity, discipline, and leadership in every performer he mentors.

Coach Kimberly is originally from New York City and brings a unique blend of discipline and creativity to the dance team. With a background in both millitary and law enforcement, she values structure, commimentment, and resilience.

She also has a passion for the arts and participates in theatre, which deepens her appreciation for performance and expression. As a new assistant coach, Kimberley is excited to help guie and insprie young dancers while instilling confidence, discipline, and a love for the art of dance
