Meet The Coaches
Kassandra McCray - Director/Coach
Kassandra McCray has had a deep love for dance and the performing arts since the age of five. What began as a childhood passion quickly grew into a lifelong calling to create, perform, and inspire others through movement. Throughout the years, Kassandra has remained dedicated to the arts, using dance as a powerful way to connect, express, and uplift those around her.
In 2018, Kassandra founded a dance ministry at her church, where she began using dance as a form of worship and storytelling. Her passion for choreography and creative direction has allowed her to choreograph for other individuals and groups, as well as perform in stage productions and musicals. These experiences have helped shape her vision for building programs that not only develop strong dancers, but also confident and expressive young people.
Kassandra has always had a special interest in majorette dance and the energy, culture, and performance power it brings. With a desire to bring something unique to her community, she created the Blue Satin Dolls to provide youth with another opportunity to participate in the arts outside of traditional sports. Recognizing that programs like this were not readily available in her area, she was inspired to build a team where dancers could discover their talent, grow in confidence, and experience the excitement of performing.
More than just a team, Kassandra’s vision for the Blue Satin Dolls is to create a sisterhood—a place where dancers feel supported, encouraged, and safe to be themselves. She believes dance has the power to build lifelong friendships, teach discipline and teamwork, and help young people discover their inner strength.
Through her leadership, passion, and dedication, Kassandra strives to inspire every dancer who walks through the door to dream big, work hard, and shine both on and off the floor.
